To get the look you want for your home, you need inspiration! Here are a few of my favorite shops and what to look for when you start searching on your own.
For lighting, hardware and rugs, Rejuvenation, is a great online site to shop. If you need a ceiling fan, which I typically hate, but do realize they are necessary, they also have some great fans that have a real industrial feel. This site also usually has 20% off selected items so I would suggest signing up for emails and updates if you are looking to get a discount.
For a coastal California cool look, search The Serena & Lily site for inspiration. I am obsessed with their wallpaper and have used it often in my designs. I also love their lighting and accessories. Furniture is beautiful and well made too. You just can’t go wrong purchasing from them. They also have a new store in Newport Beach if you want to see something in person. Overall, love this brand.
Unique and hard to find accessories can be found on Lulu & Georgia. They also have a good selection of rugs. I often get emails from them with a certain look that is on trend so if you need some additional inspiration and updating, I suggest signing up for their daily emails.
Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co. is also a good site for hardware accessories and I can’t wait to decorate an entire room around this chair, in buffalo check. It is to die for!
Of course, Pottery Barn and West Elm are good spots to build a room around. Pottery Barn has a great swivel chair I have suggested more than once to people.
Also, William Sonoma Home has gorgeous accessories. I love their ginger jars and use them often in my décor! A ginger jar always adds panache to any room!
